The first painting filmed and created during the upcoming documentary about my practice - this piece denotes the emotional response to the power of love found in a new relationship, seemingly out of the blue. Powerful waves wash over the centre, with blue cooler tones interspersed with my signature neon pink highlights to accentuate. The "forced framing" border reflects the limitations we place on ourselves before we find love, with the waves bursting through and overcoming them. Synaesthetically inspired by a track I'm currently composing.
