Maryam (born in Iran in 1984) was initially interested in portrait and anatomy painting. Her focus eventually shifted to landscape, still life, and wildlife.
Although her journey in painting began with colored pencil, gouache, and ink, later on, up to the present time, she also uses colored pencil, oil painting, and pastels in her hyper-real painting style. She holds a BS in "Physical Education" and a Master's degree in "Movement Corrective and Sports Pathology."
Maryam introduces herself as a self-taught artist with only two private teachers for a short time in the learning process; both took place in her birthplace, Isfahan.
She is currently based in Dubai, working on her new private painting collection, besides the assignments she receives from her clients.
